UNTANGLE

Privacy Policy

Untangle: Calm Puzzles. Last updated June 8, 2026.

Untangle is a puzzle game made by Mohamad Dbouk. This policy explains what data the app handles. The short version: the game has no accounts and no server of its own, your progress stays on your device, and the only data leaving the app is what the Google ad service and the app store need to show ads and process an optional purchase.

What the app stores

Your progress (solved puzzles, streak, daily-challenge history, chosen theme, and settings) is saved locally on your device only. It is never sent to us, because there is no Untangle server. Deleting the app removes this data.

Ads

The free version shows a single banner ad on the menu screens, served by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). To show ads, Google may collect a device advertising identifier and basic usage and diagnostic data.

Purchases

Untangle offers one optional purchase that unlocks every theme for good. Payment is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. The stores share only whether the purchase succeeded so the app can unlock the themes.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for or collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, location, or health data. There is no login and no analytics account tied to you beyond what the ad service described above uses.

Children

Untangle is suitable for all ages and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Players who decline tracking receive only non-personalized ads.
